Do you have a studio?
We offer lots of options for your photo session including local venues we partner with and the great outdoors. If you have a preferred location, we’d love to hear about it! Need a studio? Just ask! Check out our Instagram to get an idea of how we do it.
How many “looks” / outfits can I have?
Unlimited! It’s up to you. Keep in mind, the more outfits you have the longer our session will take and we can talk about that! Also, we have a portable tent for those outdoor locations so you can change your style as much as you want!
What about my hair?
Hair is an integral part of your look! If you have a stylist you visit regularly, and trust, we suggest going to them.
What about makeup?
If you are getting professional headshots, engagement, or wedding photos, we highly recommend professional makeup done with airbrushing. It’s smooth and last! Either way, you will want to wear makeup that accentuates your already beautiful face! We will also ensure that you get any touch up you may need. We carry all the essentials 🙂

Do the photos get retouched?
Yes! We offer basic editing with every package. Trust us! You will never see any unflattering photo of yourself. And just in case you want that “extra” touch, the ladies know what I’m talking about, let us know and we can make that happen!
What should I wear to the session?
We recommend that you wear something that you already know is flattering and fits well. Being comfortable is so important. Your attire should reflect who you are! As a rule, neutral solids are always a safe bet. Just remember to be you! We’ll take care of the rest, bringing out the best version of yourself.
What should I do before my session?
Just bring yourself! If you’re unsure about your attire, bring a few outfits and accessories and we can work together to find something that will work well. If possible, schedule your day to be as stress free and relaxed as possible!
Do I really need a professional headshot?
Maternity, Engagements, or Family photos?
YES!! If you have an online presence, it is important that you have a professional headshot. Headshots tell a story about you. If your story needs to be one of a confident, approachable professional, then we highly recommend getting one.
And if you are expecting, getting engaged or just grateful for family, then what better way to capture this season and your precious memories than a photo session! The answer will always be YES! I know we sound biased and if you value the photos as much as we do, then we will be a great fit!!
Can I get my headshots in black and white?
Absolutely, we can convert your photos to black and white at no extra charge. We might be curious as to what look you are going for BEFORE that so we can make sure that the black and white photo makes sense. We always recommend our clients send us samples of what they love so we have an idea. Also, you can start a Pinterest board and share it with us!

What is your cancellation policy?
We would love to capture you, your business, your family, and much more! If for any reason you need to cancel or reschedule, let’s chat about it! Every situation is different. However please keep in mind that your retainer is non-refundable. We will do everything we can to make sure we provide you with the Mike & Jenn Experience.
Can I get a last-minute booking?
We’d be happy to check our schedule and see how we can fit you in. Just give us a call and we will get you on the calendar!
How long does it take to get my prints?
Once your photo session is complete, you will receive your fully edited photos in a digital download approximately 4-6 weeks after. These photos are yours to download as many times as you like on as many devices as you like. We also have great products such as quality prints, canvasses, and albums so let us know if you are interested!
What is the resolution of the photos?
Your photos will be the best quality and highest resolution for you to share, print, and enjoy for generations to come! Your professional headshots will look great on business cards, social media profiles, and high-quality websites.
