It really is therapeutic shooting beach sunsets in Southern Cali. Often times, while shooting, I get into a zone and block everyone out around me. That’s not always a good thing. Wherever there’s a lovely sunset, there tool will be other photographers hoping to capture a moment that they will post either to Facebook or to Instagram (mikeedwardsphotography) or even both.
It kinda sucks when fellow photographers don’t acknowledge one another. Almost like, I don’t want to share what I have or what I know for fear of competition? That’s dumb. I’m guilty of this myself. However, last night I met another photographer and simply asked him, “how are your shots turning out?”, at which point he kindly showed me a couple of his beautiful images and thus a new friend was made.
