Do you think it’s possible to snap the same number of photos in two minutes as they once did in a decade? In 2019 we take as many pictures as they did for a whole decade in the 1800s. That tells me that folks want their pictures taken! But it’s more than that, isn’t it? People wish to ENJOY having their photos taken. Helping others to enjoy their experience is what we LOVE to do.

We remember a time when Mike was looking at family photos, and he came across a picture of him and his dad at his high school graduation, and he got a little misty-eyed. Why? Because that photo brought back the emotion he felt on that day. Knowing that his dad was so proud of him. A time when his dad was able to put his arm around him and tell him he was proud of him. He will never hear those words from his dad again because he is medically retired from a lifelong career in the military and isn’t able to speak many words or even form sentences of his own.

The sobering truth is, our clients call us for family photos all the time because they know that family members will not always be with them. While they will always stay in our hearts, let the memories of photos carry on through generations telling a story of a legacy left by those no longer with us.
